Welcome to our EYFS page! We hope this page will give you a glimpse into life in our Early Years classroom and help you to understand how we learn, play and grow together. Here, you will find updates about our learning, information about the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and details of the exciting activities and experiences we enjoy in Reception. We're going on a bear hunt

We have loved reading We’re Going on a Bear Hunt and joining in with all the actions and repeated phrases! We had lots of fun going on our very own bear hunt! 🐻🌿

People who help us

We have been learning all about the people who help us! We talked about the different jobs people do, the uniforms they wear and the equipment they need to do their jobs. We then enjoyed role-playing as doctors, police officers, firefighters and postal workers, exploring how they help us in our everyday lives. 🚒👮‍♀️👩‍⚕️📮

Autumn

We have been learning all about autumn and exploring the changes we can see around us. We enjoyed a range of autumn-themed activities, including scooping the seeds out of a pumpkin, adding pegs to a hedgehog to create its prickles, and using natural objects such as conkers, leaves and sticks to make repeating patterns. We have had lots of fun learning through hands-on exploration! 🍂🎃🦔
