Welcome to our Year 1 class page. Here you will find lots of information and photos about what we have been getting up to at school and you can share in the wonderful learning that we do. Family Learning, Geography and Maths

Geography

In Geography, making maps of the school and the classroom in groups using items and drawing.

Learning in the areas

Learning through play in the areas creating towers with bricks outside and making things in the creative area.

Family Learning

The children enjoyed one of our family learning mornings with a focus on phonics and reading skills 

Science Week!

We learnt a lot about recycling this week.

On the 24th April 2025 we went to Scampston Hall and had great fun!
