The School Day

Our doors open at 8:40am for all pupils with the day starting at 8:50am.  Up until doors opening, children remain the responsibility of parents/carers. Reception children and Key Stage 1 children can be brought into the playground by their parent/carer, whilst Key stage 2 children can be dropped off at the gate at the entry to Key Stage 1.

As the children come into class, a task will be set for them to complete whilst the register is taken.  This task links to learning for the day and so it is important that your child is on time for school every day.   The gate will be locked at 8.50am and any children arriving after that time will have to access the school via the reception/office area where they can order their lunch.

End of the school day

Our day ends at 3:20pm.  Children are taken to the playground by the school staff.  Children in reception and Key Stage 1 and 2 must be collected by a named adult.  Children in Key Stage 2 can walk home if permission has been granted by a parent/carer.  We do have very strict collection arrangements in line with our safeguarding policy and we do ask that you inform the school office as soon as practicable is somebody different is collecting your child.
